Pricing

Per person, in dollars, and published before we can charge it.

We charge per person and not per organization because what drives the cost — deliveries, replicas, support — grows with people. It is in dollars because the infrastructure is paid in dollars; in pesos it would need constant readjustment, and a price that readjusts itself is a price nobody can plan around.

Both together, a quarter less.

Vault Team plus OnCall Team is $9 per person per month instead of $12; both Business plans, $19 instead of $25. It is a percentage off the numbers above and not a fourth pricing table: one more table is one more that can go stale.

Yearly, two months off.

Twelve months paid up front cost ten. There is no lock-in: if you leave early, the unused part is refunded.

What is not a higher plan

Security is not sold separately.

A plan decides scale, retention and automation. It does not decide whether your data is protected, because a product with two levels of security has one, and it is the lower one.

  • Client-side encryption in Vault is in every plan, the free one included. There is no version with the server looking in.
  • Signing in through your identity provider is in every plan. We do not charge for secure sign-in as though it were a luxury feature.
  • Auditing exists in every plan: what a plan changes is how long it is kept, not whether it is recorded.
  • Isolation between organizations has no plan. It is the one property of the system that is not negotiable.

What is missing before the first invoice.

Charging for a service asks for things that are not in place yet: backups with a tested restore, more than one node, and in OnCall the delivery receipt closed. The full list is public and kept in the repository, in “docs/pendientes.md”.
